Rose Ranfurly Days are a fun day out where rose societies compete as groups against one another for a shield donated by legendary New Zealand Rose Breeder Dr Sam McGredy. Held in autumn, there are three Ranfurly Days around New Zealand – upper North Island, Lower North Island and the South Island.
