With winter quickly on its way, this month we feature a vibrant coloured climbing rose that will warm the garden come summer time.
Sundancer is a glowing orange rose that covers itself in flowers all summer long. The blooms are lightly scented and semi double in form. What makes this a good climber is the dense covering of healthy foliage. It is a moderately vigorous climber so can fit into most garden situations.
Climbing roses are a good way of providing colour in small spaces; just train them up against a supporting structure such as a trellis, archway or fence.
Bred in the UK by Chris Warner, it received a Certificate of Merit from the NZRS trials and the rose industry recognised its potential with a Gold Award in 2010.
