This month we are featuring one of the most disease tolerant roses on the market today. If you are new to growing roses and wish to grow one without too much effort, than Serendipity is highly recommended to you. Nothing seems to bother it during the summer and even in autumn when many other roses are not looking the best, Serendipity still looks great.
The clear yellow blooms are produced in clusters throughout summer, which make a great display in the garden and can also be brought inside for the vase. A medium, busy grower that would also be good in the garden as a standard.
Awarded the top award, the Gold Star of the South Pacific at the NZRS Rose Trials at Palmerston North in 1999 and is ranked in the top five healthiest roses by NZRS members for 2008.
Bred by Harkness of England, one of the world top rose breeders. For interest, Serendipity means an unexpected discovery or occurrence made by accident
