2016 Youtravel National Spring Rose Show and Convention
The 2016 Youtravel National Spring Rose Show and Convention was hosted by the Feilding Rose Society at the Feilding Civic Centre November 19th and 20th 2016. The theme of the show was ‘Take time to smell the roses; with a number of classes dedicated to this theme.
Rosarians from Kaitaia to Oamaru brought their best blooms to compete across a wide range of classes. Despite wet, windy conditions in the lead-up to the show, there were many quality blooms on display which were enjoyed by a good crowd who attended the show. This was the first National Rose Show hosted in Feilding and the organising committee did a great job of organising this event. The rose garden at Kowhai Park was upgraded with new roses being planted in the winter.
