The Nelson Rose Society hosted the 2013 National Autumn Rose Show in Nelson from March 15th – 17th 2013.
Rosarians from as far away as Whangarei and Tapanui travelled to Nelson, many bringing their beautiful blooms to exhibit in the show held at the Stoke Memorial Hall. Despite the very dry conditions over much of New Zealand, there were many top quality exhibits on display which the public of Nelson and surrounding areas came to see.
On the Sunday, despite some welcome rain, a bus trip visited some local gardens and attractions in the Nelson area. Well done to the Nelson Rose Society for running a great weekend.
