It has been a while since we have featured a white or cream rose so this month we feature one that has well and truly stood the test of time. In fact it is 50 years since this months featured rose was first introduced.
Pascali is a pure white Hybrid Tea rose that is still grown widely today. The blooms are well formed and pure white, complimented by dark green foliage. Long stems also make this a great rose for picking and floral work. In the garden, the plan has good health and grows to a medium height.
Bred in Belgium by noted breeder Louis Lens, Pascali was voted into the World Federation of Rose Societies Hall of Fame in 1991. It has also won awards in trials around the world. While other white roses have come and gone, Pascali is still one of the best to grow and available from garden centres and nurseries.
