The New Zealand Rose Society was successful with two nominations for awards at the 18th World Rose Convention held in Denmark recently. Lady Norwood Rose Garden – Wellington
The Lady Norwood Rose Garden is situated in the Wellington Botanical Gardens, only a short walk or drive from downtown Wellington. There are 110 beds set out in a formal geometic design with columnades on three sides and the Begonia House as a backdrop. The Dugald MacKenzie Rose Garden is the pride of the city of Palmerston North and is located in the Victoria Esplanade Gardens.
