Rose Pruning demonstration
Our annual rose pruning demonstration will be held at the Welcome Bay Palmers garden centre, 1 Ohauiti Road, Hairini, Tauranga, on the 5th July from 11am-1pm. Paul McKeany will be holding this demonstration and will be happy to answer any questions that you would like to ask. Come along, have booked the sun to shine , bring a friend or friends. You do not need to be a member of the Bay of Plenty Rose Society.
Annual Rose Show
Our annual Rose Show for 2025 is being held in the Wesley Methodist church hall, 100 13th Avenue, Tauranga South, Tauranga, on the 1st November 2025 from 11am-4pm. Entry fee Seniors $3.00, adults $5 and children under 16 free with a paying adult.
This year is the 60th Anniversary of the Society. We will have a couple of classes focusing on our Diamond anniversary for both large and mini roses. There will be the cutting of a cake and hopefully an activity relating to making clay flower heads. This is yet to be confirmed, watch this space. There will be raffles also.
